Vicki Fletcher
Vicki Fletcher is a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with A Step Ahead. When asked about the most inspiring part of her job, she said, “Making connections. Whether it’s coworkers, parents, or children, the connections are what drive me to be a better person.”
Vicki has an extensive list of credentials, she graduated from Green River College in June 2019 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Chi Beta Chapter and represented members of Green River College’s All-Washington Academic Team in 2019, has her National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT), and is a current member of the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) for WA State. Vicki is also an active volunteer for Valley Girls and Guys, a non-profit benefitting all types of cancer, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies Firefighter Big Climb Seattle, and the Special Olympics of WA state.
When Vicki isn’t working, she spends her time with her wonderful husband, 2 grown children, and an ornery cat named Blu. They love traveling and visiting their daughter in Hawaii, Vicki also is very passionate about hot yoga, working out, gardening, and reading but unfortunately suffers from not being able to refuse gummy candy, which is her kryptonite!
Vicki also has a talent for remodeling, she and her husband took their 1946 house down to the studs and rebuilt the entire thing using salvaged materials, all by themselves! She loves thrift shopping, garage sales, and free piles to find trash that she can turn into treasure! She’s so good at this, you may find her debuting on the next HGTV show! Part-time, of course, she is well-loved at ASAPC!
